William and Sarah Ann had a son Samuel born in 1875

Thanks!

OK so William and Jack were brothers.

As I am missing the William and Sarah in the notes I was given, it is unclear who the rest of the family referred to in a relevant passage. However it suggests the following are either the children of Jack and Mary, or failing that siblings of Jack and William:

Mary  - married Ned Curry from Tenterfield
Len  - was a teacher
Jack - a High School Principal, who's son was a surgeon in Sydney [Jack is twice referred to so not clear if Jack had a son also named Jack]
Grace -
Ruth - who married a Mr Wood (Banker from Toowoomba) [Not clear if your grandmother or aunt of same name]
Jean -

Further goes on about Hagan sisters marrying a Mr Parr and a Mr Pomroy. Not clear who are the sisters.

There are also some further notes about the children of these people.

Cheers

David

John had a son William who married Sarah Ann Miller born in Greenwich, England. From the original records I have John Hagan married Mary Adams in Armagh, Northern Ireland in 1829. Jack did marry Mary in 29 Dec 1894 in NSW.

OK you lost me somewhat:

John Hagan married Mary Adams in Armagh, Northern Ireland in 1829.

Their son William Hagan married Sarah Ann Miller.

Jack married Mary in 29 Dec 1894 in NSW. Is Jack William and Sarah's son,  and is Mary - Mary Goodwin?

Samuel Hagan may be the son of Jack Hagan and Mary Goodwin.

I am in London. This is from my mother's side who are all in Australia.

regards

David

Hi,
Looking for birth records (Baptism/Census etc) for John Hagan born around 1811 probably in Fermoy, Cork.
He later married Mary Adams in Fermoy, (Armagh) in 1829.
Joined up and ended up in Australia.
Thanks,
Rob.

Long shot, but I have a John Hagan from Fermoy as a distant relative. My records suggest he married an Ann Miller from Greenwich in London. The notes are sparse but there is mention of one son Jack who married a Mary Goodwin, and of all children living in NSW Australia (not clear whether Jack or John's children).

Samuel Hagan, my great grandfather, I understand from family notes is a descendant of John Hagan.
