Looking for any members of the family of veteran Harold Pointon buried in Lees Cemetary Oldham.
He was the son of Thomas and Hannah Pointon of 14 South Hill Street Glodwick Oldham. His siblings were Sydney, Hilda, Thomas, Elsie and Lilian Pointon. His Father Thomas was born in Stafford to John Charles Pointon.
Particularly interested in any military information, service number was T457280 a Driver in theRoyal Army Service Corp, died 1919.

Hi, I wonder if someone could look for Joseph J McCoy b 1873 with his wife Grace b 1871 they lived in Newington. Ive lost their 1901 census when my computer broke. Im trying to remember his job and if their kids were with them on this one.

Im sure i had him listed as a naturalist!!!! Lol

Hello Ciderdrinker! Thank you for that! I didnt realise there was a free search of the 1911 on the familysearch site. I must check that out. Your help has not gone amiss though, it completely rules this one out! Back to the drawing board!

I need to look at this family more because the Evans is ringing some bells for me. I am withoutmy computer at the mo, so you'll have to bear with me till I can dig a bit more! Thank you for your help, its made me wonder about some other related info I have, re the Evans name. :)
