Not sure of the exact date period but I’m sure the names are correct.

Family History Beginners Board / Help finding Burial place
« on: Wednesday 06 July 22 21:49 BST (UK)  »
I've been trying to find the burial place for Ann Lee sometimes known as Annie who died in Blackburn on 13th July 1884.
I contacted Blackburn cemetery services but they told me that all the cemetery burial records have been taken over by Deceased Online, so I subscribed to look at their records which did include the Blackburn burial records but I couldn't find a record for Ann Lee just after the date of her death.
Can anyone suggest other sources to look at that may have her burial location on?

World War Two / 195 Parachute Regiment
« on: Saturday 29 January 22 20:41 GMT (UK)  »
My Great Grandfather served in the 195 Parachute Regiment in Palestine during 1947-48 and I have a photo of his friend Clive Waldron in uniform which I would like to send to Clive's family.
Clive's address at the time was the 'Bertie Arms' in Uffington near Stamford, can anyone provide any information about Clive or any of his family to enable me to send the photo to?

Bastardy records / court session records can normally be viewed at the local records office, I managed to view the 1880 bastardy record information for my Grandfather at Lancashire records office.

Yes she was, the Ann Moran who married John Lee in June 1881 died in July 1984 at Rutland St. Blackburn.

Surely she didn't die in 1984.

Sorry I meant 1884.

Was Ann Moran who married John Lee a different Ann Moran to the wife of Henry Pritt?
A suggestion. There may have been 2 related women named Ann Moran living at George Street.

Yes she was, the Ann Moran who married John Lee in June 1881 died in July 1984 at Rutland St. Blackburn.

"Have you checked this one in 1871 4179/99/1"

"Annie Moran 14 yrs sister in law b Ireland
She is living at 5 Stone Street with Margaret Moran, head and her family, O’Dowd.
There is a baptism for Michael Moran, 1866 Liverpool (as census) with parents Edward Moran and Margaret O’Dowd"

The Annie Moran above age 25,  married John Lee on 18 June 1881 in Blackburn, she gave birth to John William Lee in 1882, the address where their son was born is 46 George St. West Blackburn according to the birth certificate, which is the same address that the above Edward & Margaret Moran and family were living on the 1881 census.

The Ann Moran (my great grandmother) age 26 was living with my Grandfather James Moran age 3 at 36 Friday St. Blackburn on the 1881 census, so I now feel that the Annie Moran who married John Lee is unlikely to be my Great Grandmother due to the discrepancies in age, events & records.
