hijonw65  SORRYi misread your post the FITZPATRICK must be the right one I have looked at so many smiths records  but it takes someone with your know how  and not a a beginner like me now I can start
to trace back thankyou so much to everyone who has helped me  bridget did marry john keegan in 1923 ;D ;D

hi jonw65  sorry did not get back to you yesterday thankyou the Thomas and mary sounds right  bridget smith 17 3 1904 as far as as I know they were rc I had a Thomas smith and mary kearns as
parents can you make out mary maiden name Thomas and mary married 1895 Liverpool but her daughter bridget was born june 1901 they could have had irish parents bridgets granddaughter is rc

As the person born 1934 is still living you should remove their name from your posts

I have been looking for her right birth  she marries john keegan 1923 then remarries Thomas whaley 1942 states her birth as 35   in 1939 census  she says her birth was 17 3 1906 on death cert in 1977 states her birth as 17 3 1901

Who do her marriages name as her father I have just emailed Christina daughter to ask if she can send me all details on the Thomas whaley marriage but I think it was Thomas will get back to you as soon as I hear from her thankyou

hi all started research on Christina keegan dec 1934 mother bridget smith 17 march 1901  I have been looking for her right birth  she marries john keegan 1923 then remarries Thomas whaley 1942 states her birth as 35   in 1939 census  she says her birth was 17 3 1906 on death cert in 1977 states her birth as 17 3 1901 but can find any documents with the right date can anyone help me  please  sort this out  cant get any further till I find the right birth mother howto

hi Rosie thankyou for your time  could a cotton spinner be dealing in damaged cotton and selling it on?  I found a Robert dunn age 17 in 1861 lancahire Ardwick gorton   born in chorlton maybe he met ann murphy when doing some dealing in Liverpool which is not far from gorton and then went back home  and left ann to deal with it all     As we cant find Robert 1864 till 1881 would he have been in a workhouse?  I have looked at  a lot of murphy s but cant find him      I have not come across the name may while doing research   any advice  I am going round in circles thankyou all

hi all just got birth certificate of Robert dunn 1864
superintendent registrars district Liverpool
1864 births district st martin  county Lancaster   born 29 may residence 10 barmouth street Liverpool
father Robert dunn profession damaged cotton dealer
mother ann dunn formley murphy
registered 5 july 1864    So he was not a mariner  but I still cant find the marriage for Robert dunn sn and ann murphy can anyone help thankyou for takeing time to read this post
if Robert and ann never married why has she said on register that she was a dunn (lie perhaps was a spinster on the marriage with peter carroll in 1867
