William and Ann also had a son William born at Embleton 24 Feb 1791 and died 14 April 1847 at Longhorsley. Martha was christened at Rennington not Bennington. I have attached a Link of the church record.

I think you are right about William’s birth due to the father being Patrick but there is no family link to mother Janet. There was another William born 20/02/1743 at Stratdorf and Corgaff in Aberdeenshire but father was Alexander and there is no family link to Alexander

Hi, I have just come across this chat and do not know if anyone is still interested but the copy of the church record of St Maurice for the marriage of William and Ann Lee says they were both of the Eglingham parish. William is my 5x GG. William Bolam and Patrick Wright were the witnesses and neither William or Ann could write as they just made a mark.

Northumberland / Re: Kirkharle 'Arthur' and Bellingham 'Heron'

Hi, William Heron’s grave stone (and it states his wife as Eleanor) in Whitley Chapel gives his burial as 11 Nov 1816 and his age as 82 suggesting he was born in 1734.
The wedding entry at Kirkharle says he lived in The Parish of Hexham at the time of the wedding.
How have you decided Hebron or Bothal in 1731 as his birthplace?
