Wiltshire / Re: Eleanor Norwood & Edmond Musselwhite marriage

Downtown, Wiltshire, UK.-

Apparently, he actually died in 1641. But the potential daughter would have been born while her mother was potentially still married to George Blount unless they divorced before he died.

Though having said that, she was still having children with George when Katherine Musselwhite was supposedly born.

Wiltshire / Eleanor Norwood & Edmond Musselwhite marriage
« on: Wednesday 12 April 23 21:11 BST (UK)  »
Is anyone able to confirm a marriage between Eleanor Eliza Norwood, daughter of Sir William Norwood and Elizabeth Lygon (1563-1624) and Edmond Musselwhite (1575-1590)?

I can't find any record for it but someone on FamilySearch has it down as a marriage with one daughter (Katharine Musselwhite (1600-1664). She was supposedly born 10 years after her father died which isn't even possible but I'm aware that FamilySearch may not be exactly reliable. I don't have access to any other genealogy sites so thought I would ask on here.

So I was wondering if anyone is able to confirm any of this properly.

Europe / Cipriano Figueira
« on: Monday 10 February 20 15:58 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I'm looking to gather more information on my grandfather.

Here's what I know so far:

  • His name was Cipriano Figueira.
  • Born in Coruna, Spain.
  • He was born on 23 Oct 1902.
  • Died in March 1973 in NY.
  • In 1925, he married a woman named Manuela (b. 1903) in Coruna. They had a daughter, Maria born in the same year.
  • Married my Nan, Brenda Humphrey (b. 1934 d. 2017) in 1956 in Southampton, United Kingdom.
  • Had two children with her, my mum, Maria (b. 1965) and my uncle, Joseph (b. 1956).
  • Worked on the SS United States as a porter during it's service. Before that he was apparently on several ships as a cook.
  • Became a US Citizen which is where he died.
  • Lived at 49 Schermerhorn Street in New York.

Any further information - particularly photos - would be really appreciated.
