Glamorgan FHS have indexed St Gwynno, Vaynor for the following years:

Baptisms 1714-1925
Marriages 1714-1925
Burials 1714-1950

I know that Merthyr Tydfil Public Library used to have a copy of this index. You can buy a copy for £8 here: https://genfair.co.uk/product/vaynor-cd-31970/

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Writing on reverse of postcard

Hello lovely Rootschatters,

The pencil handwriting on this postcard may be beyond legible, but if there is anyone out there with the skills to bring out the name then I would be so grateful. I with been able to discern the following:

"Love from A...... ........ 1918" There looks to me to be a down-stroke in each of the missing words.

Even a few extra letter might help me match the name to someone in my tree. The front of the card is a studio portrait of a woman and young boy. I will post it is anyone is interested.
