Thank you so much everyone. I've been working on my family for almost 20 years. This is my fathers
mothers side of the family, and I never had much information about her or his father. Both left Ireland at a very young age. My grandfather pasted when I was very young, so I don't have many memories of him talking about family. My Grandmother was only 9 years old when she left and had limited contact with her family over the years. It wasn't until recently when my own mother passed that I found papers belonging to my grandparents that contained their parents names. One was the baptismal registration of my grandmother which was transcribed by Michael Powers P.P of Ballyneale 1n 1911.
The baptism was recorded the day after she was born and her name was recorded as Susanna Ellen O'Neil, her father as Thomas and her mother as Anne. I tried the variation of O'Neill, O'Neal but had no luck. Never thought to try Neil!!!
Thank you again for the information, lesson and link to what appears to be a great source for my research as most of my family is from Ireland.
