Thanks again for the reply Ambly. The Klyen family is rather confusing and slightly irritating to research. It's full of 'one offs' There is an Abraham and John Klyen in Halifax Yorkshire (-mid 1800's John is getting married) and no further mention in any census of either of them. Half the kids of Louis Klyen and Eliza (Hearn / Wilson) seem to just disappear (They may have died young). Several years ago I received an extensive Klyen tree from a contact in the UK and there are a couple of similarities and some major differences.. It's like it's two families / brothers who had similar sized families and shared some of the same names. The only thing I'm sure about the is the direct link with me. Louis and Eliza's first born was Henry (Harry) who married Jane Southwell. They had a Lewis Klyen who had my father who had me. Apart from that, it's all fragmentary evidence and supposition.
