The Common Room / Re: The Withers and the Loveless family?
« on: Tuesday 13 April 21 10:57 BST (UK)  »
Are you after Elizabeth Withers (b. 1814 Berkshire) married Robert William Loveless (b.1791 Bristol) in 1830 at St Giles Cripplegate, London? The family emigrated to Victoria,  Australia.
What branch are you stuck with?

Yes! These are the ones! Thank you

I am stuck on the parents of Robert W. Loveless's parents. Complete deadend.

Also, the Withers side leads to an Alice Ford, married to Thomas Withers (1645-6) And I literally have nothing else for these branches.

Any dates, forenames or places to give us a clue? ;D

I'm afraid that is all the info I could dig up.

The Common Room / The Withers and the Loveless family?

Hey everyone. Hope all is well

I just signed up today so I hope I can get some loose branches in our tree finally tied together.
I had actually just discovered that my 8th granddad sailed with pirate Hornigold himself, so I am more then determined to completely my tree.

However, I seem to be stick with a particular branch.

Does anyone have knowledge or run ins with the family Loveless from England, ending up in Australia and/or the Withers family who married into them from Berkshire.

Thank you for having me here and hope to learn some fascinating things!
