Hi, my mother grew up on spice cake row in Seghill, most of the residents who lived there moved to either Cramlington or Killingworth when the street was demolished in the early 1970’s. My mother’s maiden name was Parker, and many of her father’s brothers & sisters lived either on spice cake row or nearby. My grandad (Alfie Parker) was one of 11 children. My mum remembers an uncle Geordie, which would have been a nickname for George. Perhaps the George Parker you are looking for?
