Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Kidderminster Look Ups

Hello,
I have managed to trace my Family Tree name of GIBBS back to Kidderminster and know that Samuel GIBBS was born in Horse Fair on 27 October 1848.  His father was Thomas Joseph GIBBS and mother Ann GIBBS (nee BULLUS)

Samuel's grandfather was also Samuel GIBBS - mother Susanna (nee HARGRAVE)
Samuel's greatgrandfather was Joseph GIBBS - mother Mary

Just wondering if anyone has any additional information

Hi Peter,
I was going from information on the census records I have, which I may add are a little misleading.  Nevertheless, I assumed Upton was Mary STANLEY's birthplace.
She was married on 25th Sept 1871 to William GEE in Toxteth.  Her name there is Mary Thresa Godden STANLEY (aged 23), father John STANLEY. occupation Labourer. Witnesses Joseph FIELDING and Martha GEE (William's sister)
In 1881 it was Mary Louisa GEE from Northwich, Cheshire. (aged 27)
In 1891, it was Mary GEE from Upton Cheshire. (aged 37)

That's all I have I'm afraid, sorry it's not much to work on

Hi,
I am looking for a Mary Thersa Godden STANLEY probably born on the Wirral at Upton in the parish of Woodchurch.  Her father was John Stanley, mother unknown
Mary eventually ended up in Liverpool and married in Sep 1871.
Can anyone help please. 
I think Mary was born around 1848

Thank you for the information, Elizabeth Lily was the oldest daughter of Elizabeth and Walter and died aged 21.  She was my Grandfather's sister.
Elizabeth Ann was my GGrandmother, I knew she died in 1924 but didn't have a date.  Thank you.
Walter was my GGrandfather, I knew he died in Penryn so when I was in Cornwall last month I looked in the Penryn area for a headstone.  I should have looked closer to home obviously.  Thanks for the info, next time I am down I will try to find headstones if there are any.

What a fantastic piece of detective work, and I think that you have probably got the awser I have been looking for all this time.  It may mean that I may never know the identity of the father (I am hoping it is John Bridgman).
I will email the OPC you mentioned to see if he has any more infomation on Jane Rowe's marriage and Elizabeths baptism.

Good point about the witnesses, never really looked before.  Elizabeth ROWE address simply says, Treneglos.  The witnesses are J.A.M. Shepherd and Alice Shepherd, it should be noted that the vicar was John Shephard, so the marrage was a quiet affair on 21 Dec 1879.
I have been told be another branch of the family that Walter 'married the wrong girl' so decided to move away.  That could mean illegitimacy.  There were still in the area in 1881 though.

It's one I have already listed and should persue, at least it will give me a possible lead.  On the marriage cert. it gives her age as 'full' which I assume is over 21, that would put her born before 1858 so it's worth a try.
