Roscommon / Kilglass History Book
« on: Sunday 09 December 12 08:43 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of A parish history of Kilglass, Slatta, Ruskey, by Liam Coyle?

Tried all the usual places with no success.

Thanks

Thank you so much for your quick response!

Brilliant to find it on Google street view - looking for a McCallum/MacAllum family who were there 1902.

Thanks,

Marie

Anybody able to cast some light on the name of this house - the record is associated with a birth in 1902.

Thanks.

The 1873 birth Patrick Dougan is the son of Patrick Dougan and Margaret McDonald.
Don't know about the Edward you mention.
However, you have now made 3 posts, so should now be able to use the PM facility and we can communicate further offline.

Jeanette - there has to be some connection here. The census records you mention are the same ones I have. I have the marriage record for Patrick however, and his wife's name is definitely Margaret McDonald not Doyle.

Sorry,

Don't think this is the same Patrick. "My" Patrick married Margaret McDonald - he did have a son John, but he married Catherine McGettrick.

I'm trying to find any record of a Stephen Conway born Killimore, nr Portumna (info from army pension record). Born about 1820 and married in Conway also to a Catherine Burke about 1855.
What would be the civil parish for Killimore?

Thanks
