Hello Margaret,
Saw your email--- had been looking in Co.Kilkenny and Co.Wexford is just adjacent so thought I would take a shot.
Looking for 3 FANNING brothers who came to US  at separate times (1855-1870)
Mathew.         bc. 1834
Lawrence.      bc  1835
Patrick.          bc  1850
 
They settled in Eastern Kansas (Johnson County).
They married Irish women in the U.S.
They were farmers and stock raisers.

Lawrence had children named (not necessarily in birth order)

This may be wife Mary (of 1860/1870 Matt and Mary couple) in 1880.  Husband Matt has died if the correct couple

Hi Jean,  don't know what to make of it..... No tie to a relationship to be made at the moment.

The son Hugh,  odd he was was born in NY?   

And R Dowdall from Ireland --  a lodger or a relative ??

Can they be picked up ther is 1880, I wonder ?
