Hi I have just come across this thread while going through my DNA matches looking for William Harcourt Henwood. He comes up in one of my matches trees and to start with I could not find anything on him until I did a google search and found this. I have several DNA matches to the Luscombe family who went to New Zealand. I have traced most of them back to William Luscombe b abt 1772 and Dorothy Torring b abt 1780.

I am not sure how they are related to me at the moment. I do have Luscombe in my tree but I can not connect them. There is a possibility the link could go back to Agnes Hingston b abt 1697.

I recently came across this thread while researching this Adams family for a friend. Her grandfather was Henry Adams born 1887 and his father Henry born 1867.

Do you have anything about the son of Henry (1887) also named Henry born in 1909. I have found most census records up until 1911, for which I can not find Henry 1909 or his parents.

You may be related to my friend.

I am sure that it is not Tucker. I did think it at first but have checked the later census and it looks to be his uncle. James Came back to England in April 1862 so it has to be after that. Their first child Harriet was born c1863. I have found her baptism but not the GRO ref. There is a possibility that they married abroad while he was serving in the army. But I am not sure about this as he wrote a sort of diary about it but does not mention  a wife or lady in is life other than his mother.

I know she was Cole from the birth certificate of my grt grandmother. Which says Elizabeth Carpenter formerly Cole. In all census 1871 onwards she says she is from Buckfastleigh. The only time I can not find her is 1861. I have her and possible family in 1841/1851 but I need the marriage to confirm it is the right person.

Please could someone give me some idea of the date of this photo. Also I would like some information on the necklace she is wearing. She is my 1 or 2 x grt grandmother.
