This is the one in the same David Morgan Llewellyn that I found on the 1881 census.  He is listed on the 1901 census as Daniel Lllewellyn.

It is a bit of a puzzle as I have seen a copy of his death certificate and he died in May 1961 aged 88 years, which means that his date of birth should be 1872.

I think I will have to bite the bullet and speak to my relatives again and see if they can shed anymore light on it.

I have just found out that Thomas Llewellyn and Mary Morgan may not be connected to the family I am tracing. I was given that information by a family member

I am still trying to trace information on David Morgan Llewellyn.  I can trace him on the 1881 census but he seems to disappear after that. I can't even seem to find a marriage for him. His son is David Thomas Llewellyn born 1905 in Llanelli.

I am looking for imformation on the Llewellyn family who I am told came originally from Aberayron.  I have been tracing the family in Llanelli which is where some resided.

I am trying to establish if Thomas Llewellyn was born in Aberayron.  He married Mary Morgan in Llanelli in 1872.

I am having problems tracing this family so any help would be appreciated.

Hi

I don't know if you had any luck tracing the marriage.  I don't know if the following information will help:

Angeline Marie Ball (nee Hebert) born: 23 February 1875 lived at 3 Peirson Terrace, Havre des Pas, St Helier in 1941

Also at the same address was:

Alfred Ball born: 03 October 1902. I am assuming this is her son.

I found this information on http://jerseyheritagetrust.jeron.je. Click on All Collections, then you can enter a name.

The information was taken from the Registration cards that were was held at the Immigration Department in Jersey.  You can actually order a copy of the Registration cards.

I done this for my husband's great grandparents. Their cards contained their name, date of birth, place of birth, address at time of Registration, the various addresses they lived at whilst in Jersey, a photograph, their index fingerprint.

What is even spookier is that in 1901 the Paynter family lived in Tinworks Row.  That was knocked down and I have family members who live in the house that are now there.
