I would say it is the Auld Church Graveyard. The buildings look like the ones in the high street though they have changed a bit over the years. I am not back down in Ayr till next week but will take a wee visit in to have a look

I remember when I was young that the "County" was always considered quite posh but in its later years it became much more run of the mill.

I am trying to track down the burial place of the above Hugh Wagstaff who died in Orchard Street Paisley (Low parish) in 1872. Can anybody help me with where the best place would be to look for information on this?

Hi Folks,

I have the book of monumental inscriptions for Old Dailly Churchyard and the old section of New Dailly Cemetery. I also have the Loudoun Parish Burial records for 1811 - 1857.

If anyone would like anything looked up just give me a shout.
