Hello Again;

I have found two Charman's in the FreeBDM ;

Births Sep 1883   
Charman    Joseph         Wandsworth    1d   655

and

Deaths Dec 1887   
Charman    Joseph    4    Wandsworth    1d   376


Births Dec 1886
Charman    Annie         Wandsworth    1d   674

and

Deaths Dec 1886   
Charman    Annie    0    Wandsworth    1d   391

And was wondering who their parents are and if they were brother and sister.

I find it quite simple;

I just right - click the exe and then "send to" the drive I want to.
One has to make sure there is enough room on the drive though.
If there isn't you could try right-click and "send to " a compressed folder ... and hopefully make it small enough to transfer.

The reason I was wondering is that I think on the 1911 census it was stated that George and Annie had 10 children but 4 had died.
There is a gap between children from 1883 to 1887 and I thought I would compare the births and deaths from Wandsworth during that gap to see if I could unravel some names.

  Sorry if it is the right Elizabeth then it's the wrong parents and my theory goes out the door.
I was looking for  a George and Annie as the parents.
The FreeBMD lists her as in Wandsworth .. is that close to where your Elizabeth is??

I was wondering if there was any way to find the parents of  Elizabeth Mary J Charman without having to obtain the certificates?  Perhaps a baptism record?

She died shortly after birth ;

Born Mar 1884

Greetings
     Thank you very much for all this information. I will now try and digest it all ..and make sense of it.
Until I got the marriage certificate of Joseph Charman and Mary Bourn I had thought Joseph's father was named "Richard" but on the cert it is definitely "James"
     I suppose there are lots of errors in the transcription of some of the pages as in dates and names .. is it also possible that there are others with the same names  ... a few years apart ... and I am going in the wrong direction?

side note

I went back to FreeBMD to recheck something ... now the records I found before cannot be found no matter what I try ... and I know they are right???  Does this happen often?
