There is no helping some people they want you to do the research for them >:(
I am just grateful that there is selfless people out there that will take the time out to help a total stranger i have not been doing research long myself and find it frustrating that i cannot help as much as i would like too, :-[ :-[
I just wish i had started this years ago  :)

Hi Kate
Yes i tried that but i could not definately connect the name and i dont know too much about him all i do know is that he was a piper and was born in 1882 in Auchintoul, Altas, Creich, Sutherland, Scotland to Donald and Betsey Macleod i have been told he was killed in hte battle of the Somme in 1916 age 34 but i can not find anything to support this anywhere.

Hi
No i dont have the wedding cert but i am 100% sure this is the Catherine i am looking for i am still 2 brothers unaccounted for Kenneth and John Macleod i can find Kenneth on the 1901 census age 16 in Rosehall, Creich, Sutherland, Scotland and i can find John on the 1891 census i think John (b1882) joined the Army early ie Pre war and it is a possibly that he jumped ship in NZ (But not sure) as some family reports say he was killed at the battle of the Somme in 1916 but i can find no evidence of this as i cant find an Army No. for him.
