Thank you Blue.

That is very interesting to know.

I am constantly amazed how much is available on family search.

I need to learn more about what is available on the site

Hi,

I found a record of an electoral roll entry for  George Moore 6 Addison Street in 1914 and John Reid 9 Addison Street in 1915. They were on  either Ancestry or Find my past and I didn't save it. (yes that was very stupid!) I cannot find it again and need to reference it in an essay for a course I am doing.

Could anyone has used these records and  point me in the right direction so I can cite my references please

Many thanks
Paula

Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Attaching husbands result to my account
« on: Tuesday 29 November 16 22:05 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

I have just bought 2 ancestry kits, one for me and the other for my husband. Is it easy to attach them both to my account. Was looking at another thread which has confused me. Can someone explain the process of activating kits. The instructions appear to suggest everyone needs own account.

Thank you
Paula

I will.

Keen to discover if there were family members in Liverpool when my grandparents came over :)

Hi
Thinking of going up to Liverpool to do some research.

I want to look up the baptismal certificates for my aunt and mother. My Aunt Mary was born in Sept 1914  and my mum, Lucy in July 1918. Parents John and Lucy Reid( nee O'Donoghue). I am interested to discover names of Godparents. Address- Addison Street

I believe there are some records in Crosby Library; can anyone suggest which parish would be nearest and therefore a good place to start searching. Are copies of records held in the city centre?

Thanks :)
