Greetings!  Is there anyone out there familiar with Cefn Caves?  Could this old tin photo possibly have been taken there?  Thanks in advance for any feedback.  Cheers,  Sue

Thanks for the clean up!  Looks like they are sitting on tacks, not rocks...lol!  They really  don't seem very happy about having their photo taken.  Cheers,  Sue

Greetings.  I am reposting this old tin photo inquiring as to a specific location this time.  Could this possibly have been taken at Cefn Caves, St. Asaph.  Also, any thoughts as to the approximate time period (as determined by the clothing) would be greatly appreciated, as well.   Thanks for viewing (again?)!  Regards,  Sue

LOL...they don't look very pleased...maybe he is sitting on a sharp rock...ouch!  Since this photo was in my grandmother's possession, I am assuming it was either her parents or grandparents.  I am leaning towards the north Wales area as suggested by Steve, the geologist, due to the type of rock formation/composition he described.  Cheers, Sue

Hi Steve.   I am sure wherever that picture was taken (I agree it is outdoors), those old rocks are still there!  Thanks for your expertise regarding the rocks themselves.  Sue

Do the rocks in the background of this photo look familiar to anyone out there living in the St Asaph area?  My grandmother had this picture in her album and I am trying to ascertain if the photo was taken in that area or the Pontypridd area.  Any comments greatly appreciated!  Thanks for looking,  Sue

P.S. I also posted this photo on the photo page and  Niksmum was kind enough to clean it up for me.  She rules!

Thanks again, Cas. That certainly is a good thought.  I will jot that down in my notes.  Gosh, I wish they had more unique names!  Oh well.  Take care,  Sue
