I realise that it has been some time now - and that you may have answered all sorts of questions in the interim. However, I have been researching my wife's Lillywhite family and recently found that FamilySearch have many SA records - including some for the Jane Lillywhite that appears in your posts.
Let me know if you would like to know more about her family history - it is a bit confusing!

I think I saw a mention somewhere in this thread of the https://www.genealogy.com/ftm/l/i/l/Louis-Patrick-Lillywhite/GENE1-0001.html website, which gives a lot of information about the descendants of John and Martha.

I am afraid that I gave the wrong name for her brother. He was a John Lillywhite. He is a direct ancestor of my wife. Thomas was the father of John and Elizabeth.
John is an interesting case. We don't know why he was in Norfolk, claiming to be a gamekeeper, when he got married just outside Norwich in 1802. Then he disappeared from the available records until he christened a daughter in Windsor in 1808. In the interval, he had had an earlier daughter and acquired considerable wealth.
I am sure that there must be more information about him out there somewhere.

I have just come across this thread. According to the transcription on FindMyPast, Elizabeth Best was buried in Eton, Buckinghamshire on 30 May 1825. That seems a strangely long time after the death recorded in the bible you have (unless the year was an exceptionally cold one). You might want to check with the Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies to see if you can get an image of the original.
I believe she was in Eton because her brother Thomas had become well-to-do and ran an inn and a stagecoach line in Windsor and farmed in Eton Wick.

The name William ROBERTS appears in the Bampton Vestry records, now in the Oxfordshire History Centre. He attended Vestry meetings frequently between 1763 and 1787.
In 1769 he was appointed to serve for Bampton with the Trustees of Mrs
DEWE's charity to direct the building of the workhouse to a plan provided by Mr
FREDERICK (35v). He was Overseer for the poor of Bampton in1772 (79v), 1775
(74v), 1783 (73v), 1784 (55v) and 1785 (58r): in 1771 he was appointed a charity
trustee of: - Moor Closes and Lake Kiddy Close (40r - also 30r, but deleted
there), Brookfast Furlong Close and Moor Close, the Appleton estate, the School
Closes, the Closeland and Commons at Lew and the Weald Closes and Commons
(all 40r). In 1787 he was a member of a committee to inspect the workhouse
(62r).
The numbers in brackets refer to the folio number in the original minute book.
If you are a member of OFHS you will find a name index to the relevant volume of the Vestry Minutes for Bampton in the Members Only Area.

Oxfordshire / Swinbrook Marriages

I was looking for a marriage in the OFHS Swinbrook transcription this evening and noticed that a substantial proportion of the marriages had the bride and groom both from another parish: for example "1736, Feb 21 MAJOR James *both* Brize Norton. WIDDOWS Betty".
There are very few marriages before 1712 in the transcription and the use of Swinbrook by people from other parishes seems to have been steady until 1755 when marriage legislation tightened up. After that the practice seems to have died away.
Does anyone know what was special about Swinbrook?

Oxfordshire / William SANDELANDS early 18th century

William SANDELANDS was christened in Bampton 6 Jan 1689 and he was buried there on 13 July 1734. He married twice. First in 1710 to Jane DAVIS in Witney or Cogges. (The Oxfordshire Marriage Index has two entries on slightly different dates in the two places.) She was buried in Bampton on the 11th December 1728. William left a will that indicates that they had at least 7 children – Grace, Elizabeth, Jane, Ann, John, Sarah and William. William was christened in Bampton on 14 June 1721.
Please, does anyone know where the other six were christened?
His second wife was called Mary. They had three children all baptised at Bampton – Mary on 26 September 1731, Richard on 26 January 1732 (old style) and Richard again (the first one having died) on 30 June 1734.
Please, does anyone know who Mary was? – and where and when they married?
