« on: Monday 10 November 14 15:31 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Everyone, I am trying to find out anything about the two men mentioned in a Marriage bond for £200 entered into by Simon Merrick of Letton, farmer and John Merrick of Stanton on Wye, farmer, dated 18 Feb 1720. I have not found out which farms they were at so any help would be appreciated

The image says Stephen son of Stephen and Mary Merrick  Born 9 Nov Bapt 14 Nov 1808

Kay

Edit - There aren't any other baptisms with the same parents that I can see in Hay or Breconshire, but there are a raft of possible earlier baptisms on Family Search in Hereford with parents Stephen and Mary
Thank you Kay I see it was hard to find on the IGI because it read Stephen Stephen, I have the Hereford births Stephen Merrick the father was married twice as far as I know he was an Inn Holder and Staymaker and freeman Thanks again for you help and quick reply  ;)

Just another thought, would (father Stephen occ Currier) have been put as deceased if it had been my Stephen from Hay?
Looks like there were at least two Thomas Merrick with a father  Stephen Merrick from Tredegar what a coincidence
