I'll try the Irish BMD at my local LDS FHC for any Charles Arthurs.

It's a really tricky one cos I know he was living in Islington in 1917, when my gran's eldest sister was born. I guess I won't know for sure until the 1921 census is released. Roll on 2021!

I am trying to find any record of my great-grandfather. His name was Charles Arthur Cullen. He died in Billericay, Essex in 1936, aged 58 years. My mum always said that he was her Irish granddad who committed suicide by coal gas. He wasn't married to my great-gran, so no info has been found about his family or birthplace. I wonder, if anyone has access to the Irish births, marriages and deaths index, can you do a quick search? I can't find any record of him in the English & Welsh records, so I'm beginning to think that he was born and raised in Ireland, but I don't know where.

I wonder if anyone has access to the burial records for Islington? I want to find out if Clarissa Cady (nee Todd) is buried in that area. She died in 25 Nov 1897.
