London and Middlesex / Re: Tryon, Trioen, Tryoen Flemish Weavers to England

I do think I have seen the Trionne spelling. I know little of the family in England or Belgium. That is why I am hoping to post this information on as many genealogy message boards as possible. I know more about the Tryon's who came to America between 1650-1700 and settled in the areas known as Wethersfield and Glastonbury, Connecticut.
I know of my Tryon connections back to William and Rebecca Tryon of Bibury, Gloucestershire, England in the early to mid-1600s and I am seeking to find how they are related to Pieter Trioen who left Flanders ca 1550-1560 to settle in London, England.
I would like to hear more about your ancestor. Are you from London, England? Are your parents still living? Could they tell you something about this ancestor? Or any living aunts or uncles?
I do know that my Tryon's left the cities of Ypres, Wulvemgem (spelling?) and Antwerp and I would think there were some of the family in Brussels as well.
They were Flemish weavers and at the time they arrived in London, the area they left was called Flanders, which is part of the area that is along both sides of the French/Belgian border.
They were in the cloth trade as weavers, traded in wool, silk, etc., and would have been members of the various guilds. If you are in or near London, you could contact them and might be able to find out more about the family when they first arrived.
Please write when you find out more and keep in touch.
Thank you very much for replying to my post.
