Demonstrations will be given in the use of the Ancestry and Scotland’s People data bases, Local Studies staff from the AK Bell Library in Perth and the Registrars will be in attendance and talks will be given by Steve Connelly, the AK Bell archivist, David Munro, lecturer, author and local historian, and Derek Flory, local author of Torn Apart.

I have looked hard for a copy of Stobie's Plan of the Parish of Fossoway as well.

However we very recently have got a lot of uncataloged farm plans and title deeds in a delicate condition that are not cataloged yet.
But I do not expect to look at them for at least a month as we are not ready to catalog.

The Friends of Kinross Museum is a charity established for the purpose of maintaining local involvement and interest in the Kinross Museum and to  assist in staffing the museum when it is open and raising funds for its future management.
Please join us and help secure the future of the past.
Kinross Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers
Your help through volunteering or contributing as a Friend would be greatly welcomed.
As a Friend of the Museum you will have an opportunity to assist in the development of the museum, attend the opening of exhibitions and special events and receive news updates on museum activities. Entry to the

The exhibition cases are in the Kinross Library so they can be viewed whenever the Library is open .
