trying to find a match  john lochiel married Ann hay Aberdeen 1811,can anybody help to confirm that they are related to lochel s from Alford or tough aberdeenshire ? i can find a  marriage for john lochel and Ann Clark in 1784 Alford  and can find a mention on lds for john leochel  1753.  an Alexander leochel married Elizabeth riach 1873 in Alford.

any help would be appreciated

marriage certificate states lived in downpatrick and elizabeths husbands michael cunningham came from the townland of struel just outside downpatrick

long shot  anybody looking into families with above name around 188 in down patrick . there daughter was my gggg grandmother Elizabeth born 1824 who married a Michael cunningham in down patrick in 1847 and was subject of previous post 

any help would be appreciated

ps would you go along with theory they left ireland after there marriage in 1847 due to irish famine or the fact that local mill shut down ?
