Hi Ferret, have you seen this site http://jermy.org/ and yes I did know about the murder, did you know a film based on this was called Blanche Fury starring Stewart Granger and Valerie Hobson.

I was told Jermy is a common name in Norfolk.

Hi Ferret,

My greatgrandmother was Caroline Esther Jermy born in 1865 Yarmouth her father was William Jermy b1838 Wroxham

His father Benjamin Jermy b 1808 Wroxham .

His father was Benjamin Jermy 1780 Salhouse.

They go a lot further back than this and there is a website where I was able to link my Jermys with theirs.

Let me know if there is a connection or you want any further info.

Hi Im hoping someone will look up the 1861 & 1871 census for me for

Robert Mclean he was born in 1844 Clerkenwell, London and in 1851 he was living with his mother at St George Hanover Square,Belgrave London

He gets married in 1871 in Kensington but after the census as I find his wife to be still single.

I find him in the 1881census in Marylebone, London he is a Railway signalman.

Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you.
