hi guys
a friend of mine has reacently obtained a birth certificate for a passport then found he was a girl on the certificate. so i wonder who was responsible for that little error.

hi all
i have a friend who was born in stirling in 1951 she now lives in england and has been trying for some years to obtain a copy of her birth certificate without any luck.
i've tried searching on the scotlands people site but i couldn't find anything and found the site a bit difficult to use.
also is it allowed to ask for help on the search for living people? i wont put her info on untill i know im not breaking any rules.
i have some credits left on s.p site if there is anyone willing to give me a hand,or point me in the right direction.
we did fill a form in online for a birth cert using the info we had but that was about a month ago and still not heard anything.

what a shame you dont know who is in your pics. i was on ancestry.com and they have a board where people can post their pics on the hope someone will recognise them or could you not post them on here for others to look at? you could add your family name sombody somwhere might be able to help.

i forgot to mention google street view is a great way to look for streets. http://maps.google.co.uk/
just type the street name in click on arrows its fab.
