Breconshire / Re: Church history - Llanfrynach

Hallo
This is a very old post but maybe someone is still reading it. I am looking for information about the Aubrey/awbrey family living in cwmorgwm between 1775 and still there in the 1911 census. I am hoping that someone may be able to look if there is a grave stone for anyof the Aubreys, but Meredith Awbrey in particular who died in 1817.
I look forward to hearing from anyone.

I haven't got the JONES in my tree so I can't tell you anything about them. I won't say that they aren't part of my tree except that I haven't added that branch yet!!! ..
I descend from the AUBERYS ... MARY AUBERY has a sister ANN in Wales.. she is my direct ancester. I only recently found the link to MARY in Pennsylvania because I found a letter written by JANET POWELL to ADA and I went in search of these people, the letter was about her grandfather AUBERY in Wales.
Since posting I have found out a lot about JOHN POWELL and his wife MARY AUBREY ... and their children Janet + ADA + JOHN + AUBERY all POWELLS of course.
I also know more about the AUBREYS back in Wales as they are my direct line. Although THOMAS AUBREY marys father is my brick wall. I can't find his parents.
What is very interesting is that JANET POWELL was also very intersted in family history as was her sister ADA and Janet has written many articles about the Aubrey family home and generally about the family, but sadly she didn't have any proof of the direct lineage either, so it remains very vague.
If I remember correctly the MARY in wales that you have linked in the wrong MARY AUBERY, there are several, but I may be mistaken as it was a few days ago that I read through your posts.
I would be very interested in contacting you via e-mail to see if we can fill in the gaps or add to each others information.

Thank you so much Terry ...It's a huge improvement. Would it be too much to ask to remove the feathering/fading. It is my grandfather and his brothers and has a special place in my album and the feathering (even though its really nice) just wouldn't look right.

Hope this works better
