Hi Casalguidi
Thankyou for the link maybe that will help find this couple's marriage who are so elusive to find.
Cranbrook and Frant was the main areas for this particular branch of the family and Charles Seymour and Susannah can be found in the censuses througout the years.
I have previously extracted Susannah Seymour's death certificate and she was still living at Frant up to when she died in 1874.
BUT the problem is Susannah was Horsmonden born and we want to be sure that she is the sister of my Rebecca Blunt also Horsmonden born and confirmation of an actual marriage taking place would be great if only it was able to be found.
It's already complicated enough with these two brothers from this family line where the names are repeated over and over and now it turns out these are sisters as well.
I have tried some Cranbrook films but no luck.
I have been in contact with Blunt researcher's who have checked all available records for Horsmonden, Goudhurst ect with no record of any marriage being found there either, although IGI has a listing for a son Francis Charles being born at Horsmonden in 1833 with the Francis being dropped in all censuses where he appears.
I live in Australia so any help is most appreciated.
Thanks Rob
