I haven't been on Rootschat for a long time. Only on now as your post re- Chas Scopie & the Thiessens came up in a google search.  My interest is the Scopies.  Charles Saverio is my 2xGGF on my maternal line.  My GM was Elma Scopie.  If you're still after Scopie info, happy to help.  Also you will probably be able to fill blanks for me on the Thiessens.  If you wish to e-mail me at (*) I'll help where I can.

You sent me (michcann) a message back in 2009 in regards to Josiah Webb.  I note you're other posts re- the Firth's/Kellys.  Basically I am a descendant of William Kelly/Firth on my mother's maternal line.  William Firth (Kelly) - Esther Firth & George Scopie - Elma Scopie & Geoffrey Dowling (my maternal GP's).
I had difficulty replying to your original message hence reply to this one.  May be easier contacting (if you get this) (*) as I haven't used or at least been on Rootschat for several years.
