Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / Re: 1841/51 Look up please SADLER

Hello
Very excited to hear from a family member at last, its been ages since any one has contacted me. I have a couple of photos of Ada Billam nee Sadler, one when she middle-aged and as an elderly woman. I am happy to send copies by post, unless you know someone who does have a broadband connection. I do not use Ancestry and so I can not see your tree, I'm very curious to know which part of the family you are from. I haven't printed off your message yet and can not remember how much information you gave.

I'm afraid I only have a copy of information on the 1851 (and 61)census, which was the year John Robert (Ada's father) was born. By 1861 James Stabler was married to someone else and living in Chesterfield, Deborah, John Robert's mother, died 1855, Chorlton, Manchester.
look forward to hearing from you
Lorraine
PS As a Billam I'm guessing you are one of Jack's children, am I right because Ada Sadler married Anthony Billam they had 6 daughters and one son?

I am looking for Charles Fowlstone/Fowlston/Foulston/Foulstone who married Rebecca Ducker in 1840, they possibly didn't have any children at the time of the census. They were living in Thorne, Doncaster at the time and aged 20, Rebecca was a little older.
Charles' father was William, his mother Elizabeth, they may have been living with them.
Thank you  :)

Hi once again
I do have James' son's wedding cert - John Robert, he was married in Sheffield 1875 to Elizabeth Denton. It may be a good idea to find out more about the marriage between John and Barbara (opps) - if he appears on the 1851 census with her and working as a farmer I may have my man ....
Thank you once again
Lorraine ; :D

Hi Jon
James was married at St Thomas, next bit can't read, in Chesterfield.
I already have details from the 1851 & 1861 census which told me that James remarried. My relative was from the marriage in 1848 to Deborah Maklin.  John Robert Sadler was born in Tattershall, Lincoln, his brother William was born in 1853, Manchester. Their mother Deborah died there in 1855.
James remarried in Manchester and had two more children.
I wondered whether the 1841 census would tell me more about James family, his fathers name is given as John, occupation farmer. The ages are given as 'full age' and residence for both as 'this district'

Can some one please look up on either the 1841 or 51 census a relative - it may be difficult or impossible as I have very little information.
The man I am looking for is John Sadler, he was born in Derbyshire, possibly Chesterfield about 1799 and was a farmer - at least he was in 1848 when his son James married.
Thank you in anticipation  :)

Fantastic, thank you.
I wonder what it means - perhaps he was visiting, possibly his sister.  Hannah was William's mothers name. William married 2 years later in 1843 - it's just dawned on me how old he was when he tied the knot!
Thank you once again

Thank you Laurina
That was a lovely surprise, I haven't looked at my Ridsdale family for a while - time to dig them up again  :)
