Cavan / LYNCH, Mary

Mary LYNCH came to New Zealand aboard the 'Carisbrooke Castle' arriving in Auckland 8 September 1875.  Total cost of passage was sixteen pounds ten shillings, she was 18 years of age.  It shows her occupation as servant and she came from Cavan.  That is all we know of her life before she reached NZ.  Is there anyone who has Mary LYNCH in their 'tree'? or knows of this family.  Willing to share her life in NZ for anyone who can help me.  Coming to NZ in 1875 aged 18, means that her birth year would have been 1857 or thereabouts.  Any help greatly appreciated.

Westmeath / FLYNN family

Michael FLYNN b Abt. 1827 Westmeath. married Westmeath to Margaret MORAN (her parents  -  Patrick MORAN & Elinor nee SHERIDAN). Children Mary Ann b Abt. 1852 Westmeath.  Helena b Abt. 1856 Westmeath.  Amelia born/baptism 11 April 1858 Mullingar.  Michael born/baptism 11 August 1863 Mullingar.  Eugene born/baptism 15 December 1866 Mullingar.  All left London 5 September 1872 on the ship Agnes Muir bound for New Zealand.  Any info of this family in Mullingar prior to leaving for NZ would be appreciated especially Michael Snr's family plus his marriage date to Margaret.

Hi The Christey family are in my family tree.  George Allen CHRISTEY b 1853 married Agnes HOWE in Thames, NZ on 9 Feb 1876.  My maiden name was HOWE and I am mainly researching Agnes' brother who was my g. grandfather but I do have info on some of the CHRISTEY family  which I can share with you.  Please email me on (*)so we can share info.

Westmeath / Flynns of Mullingar

Hi 
Is there anyone with Flynn in their research.  Michael married Margaret Moran, they had five children - Mary Ann, Helena, Amelia, Michael & Eugene. Michael bc 1827 and Margaret bc 1828.  Went to New Zealand aboard the 'Agnes Muir' arriving 24 December 1872.
Any info would be appreciated.
