The info you on archibald cowper ( Cooper) is the same as I have which i gleaned from other peoples family trees from ancestry.com
I have traced ancestry back to Nicholas 1651-1711 also ( thru ancestry's family trees) but have no other info re children, occupation or any sense of what these peole were ike and how they lived their lives.
So anything you have would be good thnaks
Are you a relative at all?

Hi,
I have only just joined this service. I was trying to find other info on one of my ancestors David Casson ( 1749-1829) married to Hannah Hunter ( 1747-1798) and googled John Casson and arrived here and have joined.
I have only recently traced these names through ancestry.com and other peoples family trees.
I live in Australia and I have family info and photos back to my great grandfather who was John Cooper from Ellinborough in Cumberland. He was a mining engineer and killed in an accident at Flimby mines. His son Tom Pooley Cooper came to Australia in the 1800's and married and and there are now many relatives here.
John coopers father was Thomas Cooper his father was Archibald Cooper who married Ann Casson (1810-1910) which is 5 generations ago.
Hope to hear from you soon. I have photos and information back to John Cooper. Any help with other material would be most welcome.
I live in Melbourne and I am a teacher ( as was my father, and grandfather)
Regards millicent :)
