Hi

Sorry to you Rosie I don't know why I assumed ancestry. I thought I had checked all spellings but it is great to have fresh eyes check data. Thank you to all for replies.

Hi

I need help in tracing Geraldine Claudia Blanche Rayner She was born c1888
She Married Edwin charles Hitchens 1908 in cornwall
She died in 1946 in cornwall

I have looked on he Cornish OPC but can only find a Gwendoline Claudia Blanche Rayner as a witness to a marriage.

I found the death and marriage cert on ancestry

On the 1911 Cencus i can find Edwin Charles hitchens living with his mother but no Geraldine also by then they had Edwin charles JR in 1909 but he is not listed either.
I have tried checking overseas cencus on ancestry to no avail. Can anyone help or have any suggestions where to look next.

Hi

The George belter Smith would fit as I have 1822 for DOB and did marry Edna Moulds so it looks very likely.
His son George Belton Smith was 1855

Thank you for looking.

Hi

Does anyone have any information on the Belton Smith family from Lincolnshire. I have been looking into the family for a while now for my Mother in Law her dad is a Smith as was her Grandad but his dad and grandad were Belton Smith then as you go back they were either Belton or Smith which does not make it easy to tie people together as you can imagine.
So if any one has any info would look forward to hearing from you.

Names that i have are George Belton Smith, Moulds Belton Smith, Fanny Belton Smith, John Belton Smith all children of George Belton Smith and Edna Moulds.

George Belton Smith Father was Thomas Belton and Mother Sarah Smith I am led to believe.

Hi

Thank you it is true I am lucky that you could find me a transcription i have been looking for a long time for something on him sorry I sounded negative it just gets frustrating.

I checked out the link you gave me for the Masters marriage It is handy when you know where to look and I found Thomas John's Marriage Cert with father named as Frederick  ( Deceased) Still no marriage between his Mum and dad maybe they never did and she just took the name and said she was a widdow when she married George masters.

Now a task to find Frederick.

Thanks again for the link.

Hi

Thank you for the information it has been great to look at it is a shame the  transcription of the mc does not say more.

I wonder weather thomas john's mc gives biological father or Masters as father. may have to try to find that.

Thanks again Anna

Cornwall / RICHARDS family seach Cornwall
« on: Wednesday 11 August 10 09:49 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Can anyone help I am looking for information on Thomas John Richards cornwall. It is his fathers name that i would really like to know His mother was Elizabeth Lance but i can not find any marriage between her nd a Richards she remarried under the Richards name to George Masters then to a James Farr. Maybe she never married Richards in the first place but even trying to find the right BC for Thomas John is proving difficult as it seems to be a common name I know he was born around 1885 in Cornwall.

Look forward to hearing from anyone :)
