Trying to piece together Emily's (My great Grandmother) family.
It looks like her father was David Holroyd and her mother possibly Elizabeth Robinson cannot find any information about them.

Also William Burt (b1863) parents were possibly  George Burt and Elizabeth Foster but again cannot seem to find much out

I have an interest in Forster & Lynn surnames from Seaton Sluice.

My Great Great Grandmother was Elizabeth Burt (maiden name Forster) b1840 in Seaton Sluice

Her parents were James Forster b abt 1807, Margeret (unknown maiden name at this point) b abt 1800 both in Seaton Sluice

I am "trying" to piece together my own family history.Sadly I havn't visited the North East since my father died in 1972.

My father was Charles Stabler born in Cullercoats/WhitleyBay 1907 to Charles Stabler b1877 (Bishop Aulkand) and Mary Annie Burt b 1882/3 on Rocky Island Seaton Sluice.

I am ,at present, concentrating on my grandmothers family. She was born to parents William Burt & Emily Burt (Holroyd) and had , as far as I can trace, 4 sisters Elizabeth b1884 Emily b1891, Margeret b 1895 and Florence b 1897. i can remember my Aunt Florence (known as Florrie) as a young lad in the 60's. She passed away in 1977.

I would be interested to hear from anyone else who is from this line and is/has also researched the history
