Hi  Lucile,
Thank you, much appreciate the info. you sent.
My line is thus: Sarah Bangley married John Beale, Edward was born 1744. He married Margaret Hodge then amongst others, they produce Thomas Beale, my 3x great grandfather.
From what you have told me, I am unable to establish where Mary Boles fits in so cannot take it further.
There is clearly a link between us  and would like to know more.
Regards   Don

Hi Lucille,
For me, your reply was very prompt, I think 4 days is pretty good. I would very much like to see your tree please . Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange email addresses until after 3 or 4 posts, Rootchat rules I'm afraid. My tree is on Genes Reunited and if you are a member, I can open it for you. Let me know.

My tree on the computer is large and if I try to email pdf, it  clips the ends off. I f however you are using a family tree programme, I can send you a gedcom which will automatically feed into your programme. This is some thing to think about in the near future. In the mean time, any snippets of information you pass on would be appreciated
Best Wishes   Don

I have Sarah on my tree, having married John Beale in 1733, she is my 5th great grandmother. She was born about 1712  in Harston Cambs. married 1733 in Therfield Herts and died 1794 Therfield. Her father was Bransome Bagley and mother Sarah Colvin. Their marriage was in 1905 at Harston. I have plenty of info. on the Beales but little else on Sarah. Hope this helps

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. It seems you may have the answers I have been looking for. It is really necessary to go back a little further to find the connection. If we could go back about three generations, we could then see  it. I may have found Henry's father, John. born 1782 Royston but not his mother. I have also possibly found his Grandfather James and his wife Sarah but this is unproven information as yet. I would be more than pleased if you could help me.
I chased down Edward and wife to Bray in Berkshire , that is as far as I have managed.
I am happy to communicate direct, my email address is (*)

Hi Rachel,
I just happened to notice your post dated 26thAugust 2004 regarding Henry Beale.

I have for some years been researching my ancestors who lived in Royston or the surrounding area and have found many. So far every Beale I have found has been a relation except for Henry Beale, born about 1813 in Royston. His father was John Beale born about 1782 in Royston but the problem here is that I have found so many John's and unable to establish which John is which. Henry married Elizabeth Stamford 1844 and they had a number of children, one being Edward who I have traced to Berkshire. There was also another son Henry born 1844.

By the nature of your post, I assume that you have an interest in this family and wondered if you can give me any further information that will enable me to make a connection with my part of the Beale family?
