Has anyone any details at all of a William Joseph McCarthy (born Limerick 1869 ) returning to Clonmel post 1901. i have lost him from the UK census after 1901. I know his father was in Irishtown Clonmel until he died circa 1913 so did William return to help him?

On the register of birth it states Garvey's Place. Do you have any old photos of the area?

James McCarthy (bn Rathkeale 1863) who married Margaret Scott in Clonmel 1885. Patrick and Anastasia were witnesses/sponsors. I have an Anastasia McCarthy dying in the Clonmel workhouse 1899 and it is stated she is a widow. Not sure where or when Patrick died.

Limerick / Garvey's Place or Garvey's Range - Limerick
« on: Sunday 23 August 09 19:10 BST (UK)  »
I have a couple of registers which both state 'Garvey's PLACE' and yey all I can find is Garvey's 'RANGE'. Are these two places the same and if so why would they not have called the address Garvey's Range on the birth register.  where was Garvey's place????
