I spoke to her about it today, having the picture. She remembers the ground floor tenants, Bob and Jessie Milne, as they had a Pomeranian, and Jessie walked it round the communal drying green. Mrs Morrison lived in the middle on the same side as my mother, who was a little girl at the time. The Strachans lived in the middle tenement on the other side.  The owners, the Stills, visited occasionally, but did not live there permanently. They show in the valuation roll for 1915.  I'll try to see if she remembers a wedding taking place.  She was more interested in the hen wifies who plucked the chickens and the "tarry engine" that came to fill the holes in the road, however!

Wonder if anyone could tell me where 'Stills Buildings, Kintore' were or maybe still are. Also is there any website or publication that may have a picture of them?

I can't find anything either. My mother lived in the top floor of the tenement in 1921 and describes the following:
"At the head of the perforated iron stair was a small platform, in which stood a large iron sink with a single cold water tap. This was the communal water supply for the tenement houses above the stair and it was from this platform, using the sink as a stand for our chipped crockery mugs, that we launched our beautiful bubbles... [We] vied with each other to see whose would go furthest, whose was the biggest and who would even be fortunate enough to see one of our beautiful missiles land with a plot on the unsuspecting head of the hotel maid as she crossed the "close" en route for the byre to do the milking"
I'm guessing it was near the Kintore Arms - she also mentions commercial travellers in that connection. I suspect it no longer exists. You can do a search by place on the 1915 Valuation Rolls using Scotlandspeople (ppv). Select Aberdeen, then Kintore. Ignore names - enter Stills Buildings under Place. The 1911 Census will give an idea of where it was as well.

I have 13 too - Margaret and Mary were twins, and Mary Finnie "died suddenly No medical attendant" on 30 June 1856. I have two Peters, the first, for whom I can find no baptism, is on the 1851 census (2nd page) at ?months of age, and he may have died as Mary did? Another Peter appears on the 1861 census, aged  2 years. I can't find a baptism for Francis but his birth year is confirmed by his death in Sept 1924, aged 82, and first marriage at 1862, aged 20. Fun, isn't it!
 

PS - just noted your request - the birth in Drumblade is of Brenda Shearer who married John Finnie in 1864. The layout comes from a genealogy report in my tree.

John Finnie was one of the ten children of Francis Finnie and Jane Hay, so you should find a large number of kin in the North East of Scotland. My direct ancester in that family is James Finnie. The Deys are also prolific and my greatmother Finnie also married a Dey. John Finnie was born 1844, Barbara Shearer in 1836. They married 1864
