Not strictly a Censuswhack, but 1891 also has the Dead family in Fleetwood, Lancs (there's ONE other Dead in the country, so I can't claim a point!)...  but WHAT an interesting family.

Oooooh!  Getting really goulish now: only one Skeleton in 1871 :o

 strange you have 2 dead I have 20 Corpse's in 1881

Selina Fisher nee Bishop My maternal GGrandmother born of fairground and circus folk  ( Richard Bishop Musican And Elllen Lismore)in Laugharnes Wales in 1875. She grew up in Chipperfields, Fossetts and Sangers circus's  Had her own Slack wire act, Bar back riding and snake act.  She travelled the length and breadth of the country before getting married in Norwich at the age of 16 (she lied and said she was 21) Settled down and had 12 Children  (only 4 survived into adulthood). I've traced her move to Lowerstoft and the births and deaths of her children, and listened closely to my grandmothers stories of her. She died aged 40 of kidney failure and I have visted her grave in Kessingland, surrounded by her children.
I dont know why But I love  her dearly and wish that I had go to know her.

Recieved today the death certificate for my 3Xggrandfather William Taylor, (yup I actually got the right one). But Oh a tale I wish I could find out.

Died aged 82 in Brixton a Provision merchant (and he had a load of money) from a cerebral heamorage (blow to the head) present at the death was his son-in-law (A chemist out of work) Hmmmmmmm!!! The funeral undertakers were B C Crook.  All very fishy if you ask me.  Need to find out any newpaper reports on it .

Hi,
Still looking for William Taylor I have him at 35 Little Pulteney Street St Lukes St James in 1851 with his sister Martha age 15 and in 1861 I have him at the same address with his brother John E Taylor. I have some of the other family at 11 Vigo Street St James Westminster

1851  William Taylor  24 London  Cheesemonger
           John E Taylor  22 Herefordshire
          Martha Taylor  15 Herefordshire

1861  William Taylor 35 St James Westminster Cheesemonger
Jno E  (could be J)Taylor   32 Herefordshire  Cheesemonger

Looking to see if they are still at 35 Pulteney street or at 11 Vigo Street which was the Buchers shop in 1841.  The shop was underneath the name of John Taylor.

Thanks for your time and for looking

Regards

Jenny

Hi Cougar,

Thanks for looking, I am hoping to find John William Guyer with his family he should be around about 9 years old as he was with William  Taylor in 1871 aged 19. As yet I have no idea of his parents names, and it is confusing as he puts himself as being born in Paddington, but the only birth cert I can find is in Greenwich the other side of the river :-(. not everyone here registered births until 1857, so its a problem.

Are you sure about Williams age as he would have been 12 at the birth of his son John. Can you clarify please, and have you any other information?
