Hello Orielbenfro.
Thank you very much for that wealth of information.
I have recently found the George Frise birth 14/3/1814 at Turnchapel Devon s of Benjamin and Ann.
Elizabeth Ann Davies was bc 1815 Bristol, sorry I should have mentioned that.

I had nothing on John Frise until now and have not researched him at the moment.
As the Frise family moved to Pembroke could you please see if there is a death for Benjamin and his wife Ann. I am not sure if Ann died Devon or Wales as Benjamin is a widower on 1841 census.

Could you please help with birth/baptism of Ann Maria Frise born DQ 1867 Pembroke Dock d of the above George and Elizabeth.  Ann Maria married Thomas Stacey 24/11/1866 Pembroke RO I have recently obtained the marriage certificate.

Could you please also help with the baptism of Thomas George William Stacey born DQ 1867 Pembroke Dock s of Thomas and Ann Maria.

Thank you for saving me a few quid and for your help and time. I do get certificates now and again when I can afford it.
Regards Alan.

Could somebody please find the details of the marriage of George Frise and Elizabeth Unknown SQ 1837 Pembroke.

As no page number is shown on the marriage index only the volume number 20, I rang the GRO and they said they will not issue a certificate without the page number.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Extract from a book on  Blewbury.

In 1834 Francis Martin, the shoemaker, built a chapel in Westbrook Street.
This was for followers of the Particular Baptist persuasion and held 70.
Francis Martin was Deacon. It is said that Baptisms used to take place in a stream at the bottom of the garden.
