Hi Pentio

Grumpy old woman is back (briefly as I dont move til Tuesday!)

I am getting grumpier I am afraid! Electrician has floor boards up, husband and me painting - very slowly due to his bad back and my trapped nerve in shoulder, carpet appears delivery delayed and work is a pain in the a**e!!!! Apart from that I am in a great mood!!!

Don't get too caught up in our search ie zoo cos I know the weather there (and here) is awful at the moment - wait till New Year when spring is on way and weather starts to improve!!

Hope you and family are well

saz (GOW) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Pentio

I remember going to zoo as a child (not that long ago!) and remember a lovely warm part, close to the heffalumps, which I think was refered to as the botanic gardens.

I also feel sure I have a photo of it somewhere - probably packed away with the rest!!!!!

Thanks for all your help

Hi Pentio

Sorry I havn't got back to you before - many thanks for the Botanic Gardens visit for us - it was really kind of you to do that.

I know what you mean about the downpours - we have been having them here too in the last few weeks.

It has always amazed me how kind family tree researchers are. We had a lady went to Belfast from Antrim for us a few years ago and did lots of look ups and I have only recently realised she must have paid to get the information and I didn't even ask or offer to pay!!!

I am such a Grumpy Old Woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you are all well ;D

I will get back to packing up ready for our house move - think I'll scrape the paint out of my hair first though!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Pentio you have been such a busy boy!!

I am just wondering what job you do and does your firm/company have any vacancies in my part of the world!!??!! ;D ;D ;D

I have said it before and I will say it again - sarcasm is the lowest form of wit - and I should  know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sooooooooo jealous!!! ;D ;D ;D

I think I am just feeling Kn***erd today as we are in process of moving - took ages (or seemed to) getting to this stage and wish I hadn't bothered now I see the amount of work needed!!!!!

Keep up the good work / ignore me - I am bitter and twisted / and dont forget The Botanic Gardens if you get half a chance!! ;D ;D

Speak soon

Hi Paulatoo

I have been to Bognor beach today and looked at beach huts. I had camera and was all set to  snap away - HOWEVER - when I switched on  camera discovered batteries were flat!!!!!!  Sooooooooooo sorry - but I will try again soon.

Beach huts did not look right and I am wondering if your photo was Littlehampton rather than Bognor Regis as the groins (is that spelt right for beach ones?) did not come as far up as the ones in your photo and, from memory the L'hampton ones are right up to huts - as in your photo!!!

I will try to take photos of both soon! :o :o :o :o :o - any excuse to take time out from work is most welcome!!!

Hi Paula
I got to Bognor today but it was too breezy for a seafront walk - I will try again next week ;D

Hi Indi

I just had a thought - the Weston Supermare (or Weston on mud) photo must be quite rare - YOU CAN SEE THE SEA!!! It goes so far out normally that you have to wait hours before you can spot it!!!

Hi Paulatoo

Those beach huts are still there and I don't think they have changed much!

I am in Bognor most days so I will try to remember camera and see if I can find time soon to take a few photos!
