Hello Brie,
I forgot to mention that the present Police Station is a relatively new building but further along Potter Street is the magistrates court..this may be more relevant for you as i believe this was the site of the original station.... :)

Hi Holmes,
I don't know whether this is of any use to you at all but if you were to Google "k j & d excavations" Hereford...they come up as being based at Yew Tree Cottage,Stokes Lane ,Stoke Lacy..
I don't remember a great deal about that particular place to know if it is likely to be an old building or not..and perhaps there were lots of Yew Tree's in Bromyard!
But i thought i would mention it - you never know!Flo'

Hi Downside,
Yes,it is Millenium Edition but i don't want to run or dowmload IE7,i want to try and stop the download page for it popping up..i probably did'nt explain very clearly but the download page for it popped up when i opened IE and Spybot identified it as a page with a registry change which i then blocked but it keeps on coming up still when i open IE for some reason!
I don't understand why i can't get rid of it as it's not set as my home page..

Technical Help / Problem with Spybot..
« on: Wednesday 16 April 08 22:33 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
Please can anyone help me...i have loaded Spybot onto an ME system and it has been working fine for several weeks but today when the Internet Explorer was opened it came up with an alert regarding a registry change..even though the option to "block registry changes" was used it still keeps loading the (supposedly denied) page each time Internet Explorer is opened.
The page appears to an authentic Microsoft page for updates and is regarding the Internet Explorer 7 download, which,if you read further down the page it actually states that it is not compatible with the system that is on the computer etc ...i have checked with the computer settings as i wondered if the "home page" needed re-setting but it does'nt-it is still set to what has been used all along so i am at a loss as to what to try next-if i was to re-install Spybot would'nt the same thing just keep on happening? Is it a virus or something??
Grateful for any suggestions as i am not too hot on such things.....Thank You
