Norfolk / Applegates of Yarmouh, Norfolk.
« on: Wednesday 17 August 11 13:25 BST (UK)  »
HI  is anybody researching the Applegate family of Yarmouth?

I have a William Applegate on the 1841 & 1851 census in London who states he was born in Yarmouth, Norfolk.  His birth according to the ages given would be around 1790 - 1792. His marriage certificate dated 1839 says he married Mary Ann Prosser and he gives his father as William Applegate a Twine Spinner. If anyone has him in their tree would be very grateful for more info.  :)

Also does anyone have access to the Yarmouth PR registers for this period?

Many thanks
Pam

Buckinghamshire Lookup Requests / Harman Family of Wycombe
« on: Tuesday 16 August 11 15:38 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Is there anyone who has access to Wycombe PR's and would be willing to do a lookup for me. I am trying to find the birth of Mary Harman who says she was born in Wycombe. Her age varies slightly but I think from these census returns she was born betwen 1825-1827. Her father was Henry Harman a carpenter, details from her marriage certificate to Charles Kennedy. Thanks in anticipation

The Common Room / Murray Family Hull
« on: Tuesday 26 January 10 18:12 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

Does anybody know what happened to the Murray family who used to live in St Leonards Terrace Hull.

They were Catherine, Donald Malcolm & William Murray. I have found death certificates for three of them but the youngest son was still there when it was pulled down for slum clearance in 1970's. Rumour is he moved to Anlaby Road but he may now have died.

Any information would be helpful.

Pam
