Oxfordshire / Maria Coggins. born Bicester.
« on: Wednesday 20 April 16 15:20 BST (UK)  »

I am looking for help in find out about a Maria Coggins who was born circa 1851 at Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Who were here parents? Siblings etc?

I do know she married James Davis in Kidderminster in 1874. I also have only the 1881 census.

                                    Thanks           Enots.

Rosie,

On Free BMD he shows up in 1869 and his surname is spelt DAVIS.

Some friends have been looking on the 1911 and cold not find him. Perhaps his name is spelt Davies on that census.     Enots

I am looking for a George Jones Davies (Davis) in the 1901 census please.

He was born c.1870 in Ivington nr Leominster, Herefordshire and is said to have moved to the Malvern, Worcestershire area where he married a lady with the surname Kemp.

Would someone help me find him please and then I can progress further.

                                       Thanks       Enots.

 Hello again Groom,
Once again sorry for asking about the 1911. I have used the site now for several years and should know better. I am so happy to be progressing onwards with the tree and this informative info. I should thank Carol too.

Thanks and kind regards from Enots. :)

Well that is just great information.

I must have the wrong parents in my notes so this puts me on the right track now.

                       Thanks from Enots.

Hello,  Would someone help me find Frederick Thomas Baker please?

He was born in Cheltenham in 1898 and from a recent conversation it was mentioned that he lived near Hunslet.  I have had no success either in finding him in the 1901. Perhaps he moved elsewhere after his birth in Cheltenham.

                                    Thanks Enots.

Just goes to show that I should not always trust what is written on all these little pieces of paper that were passed down to me.

Thank you to everyone who helped find me out this information.          Enots.

Rosie,

The Later relatives ran the Queens Head in Wolverley for many years throughout my childhood and teenage years so I assume 99% that this is the right one. Thanks for finding this one out for me.           Enots.
