With the help of fellow RootsChatters I've been in touch with my Fathers(who died 34 yrs ago) family.Sadly theres a funeral Friday,of one of his brothers, but am excited as going to meet the rest of the family!!!!!  I know it sounds bad being excited to go to a funeral but I haven't met any of them for over 37 years!!!!!Also will be going to visit the graves of those that have sadly past on that I never knew or could remember,to pay my respects.

Many thanks for replying Carolanne. To be honest I don't know what religion they were.I've been routing round the internet and found out that Ripon fell into the Harrogate District.Off we went back to the 1881 census and found a William Sanderson born, according to his age,1838, Harrogate,  RG11  5005  46  1, living in Monkwearmouth,Durham.I'm hoping this could be him..... Back to FBMD.....

Hi everyone.I'm a bit stuck with trying to find my ggg grandfather!!!! I can't seem to find a birth for him in the area he was meant to be born in,Ripon. Please could someone have a look for me. Also his son William,c1837.A relative I found on Genes has these dates but I'm not 100% sure.I've trawled thru Fbmd for William and found one born Ripon June qtr 1854 9a 77,but thats a big difference in years.Would it be worth sending off for this Williams BC just to see if James is his father. Many thanks.
