Who did the Drapes family of Waterford  lease from?
Sorry Hallmark I didn't explain it fully John Lanphier was Co Tip, Waterford, Kilkenny, Wexford.

The Drapes family followed a similar trajectory with fingers in pies across neighbouring counties from what I have gathered so far.
I don't know is the honest answer

Yes,  haven't seen a link between the Drapes family of New Ross and the Drapes family of Waterford.

It was from Vol   484 Page   242 Memorial 307445 from 1794

others  from 1794

The plots are well and truly complex as with John and his child to Antho, sponsor Catherine Gleeson. This John an earlier generation was initially from Co. Tipperary, moved to Co. Waterford and later Rosbercon (Co. Kilkenny) which we now know is part of Co. Wexford. I am not sure which County he would have played for if a hurler of Gaelic Footballer - I guess he was a roving Munster ;D

Sam is mentioned as son of Richard in Waterford City, Brewer!
Hallmark Do you have a memorial number for this, please?
What makes this a bit trickier and I had the same with  my father's family who Lived in Westmoreland (Cumbria now) is places on or near a border changed counties over the years. So Rosbercon is just outside New Ross on the other side of the River Barrow. Then classed as County Kilkenny and now County Wexford...it's never straightforward

Thanks hallmark. This indeed is a link. I believe John Lamphier was brother-in-law of Richard Drapes the brewer. So John and Prudence were siblings.

Wexford / Connections with the Drapes family of New Ross

Does anyone have a connection to the family of Richard Drapes born about 1745 died 1805/6. He owned a brewery there at one time. He married Prudence Lamphier in Waterford. There are suggestions they married 17 May 1792 but that seems late could it have been 1772(?). They had a son Samuel who died in 1820 in Toulon, France and a daughter Prudence who married John Ardagh Russell.

Tipperary / Re: What is the connection of these names on a baptism record

I was just illustrating that names  are often quite specific to certain areas :)
I certainly didn’t mean that yours was Wexford. I perhaps didn’t explain it properly. Apologies.

You would write it as Anto - that is what it says and presumably what it was.
If you search for Catholic records, for example, Anto seems to be predominantly in Tipperary.
Yes I agree write as it was recorded.  Thanks again for you help everyone
