. The plots are well and truly complex as with John and his child to Antho, sponsor Catherine Gleeson. This John an earlier generation was initially from Co. Tipperary, moved to Co. Waterford and later Rosbercon (Co. Kilkenny) which we now know is part of Co. Wexford. I am not sure which County he would have played for if a hurler of Gaelic Footballer - I guess he was a roving Munster

So Rosbercon is just outside New Ross on the other side of the River Barrow. Then classed as County Kilkenny and now County Wexford...it's never straightforwardSam is mentioned as son of Richard in Waterford City, Brewer!Hallmark Do you have a memorial number for this, please?

Does anyone have a connection to the family of Richard Drapes born about 1745 died 1805/6. He owned a brewery there at one time. He married Prudence Lamphier in Waterford. There are suggestions they married 17 May 1792 but that seems late could it have been 1772(?). They had a son Samuel who died in 1820 in Toulon, France and a daughter Prudence who married John Ardagh Russell.

I certainly didn’t mean that yours was Wexford. I perhaps didn’t explain it properly. Apologies.
You would write it as Anto - that is what it says and presumably what it was.
If you search for Catholic records, for example, Anto seems to be predominantly in Tipperary.
