It is confusing.Not helped by there being three Shibden Halls. There is the one near Stump Cross then there are or were Upper and Lower Shibden Halls near to Catherine Slack. I think that Upper Shibden Hall may also be known as Old Shibden Hall.

If your video looks ok but theirs doesn't are you sure that the problem isn't at their end? Is the problem with only one other person's videos or with several?

I have had Avast on several PC's, only for XP however but my son has Windows 8.1 with Avast. So far we have had no problems.
I did use AVG previously but gave up on it after several false positives caused it to delete files or refuse to allow me to install programs.

I found a Microsoft page which mentions something similar:

They suggest pressing F8 at boot then go into repair tools and do a system restore to your last restore point.

There is another gatehouse(?) on Ravensknowle Rd which is occupied now but I'm not sure that it always was.

The ward would have been Dalton. There is still a gatehouse near the entrance on Wakefield Rd, it is still occupied but I don't know if the occupants are anything to do with the museum these days.
