Hi Paula,
because of your restoration I  able was to provide a print of Gt Grandma to her daughter (who is in her nineties). My aunt did have a  picture so a big thankyou on her behalf

Thanks all for the improvements to the photograph, looking again at the photo and the apparent age of my grandma I think she was probally dressed ready to go to her elder brothers wedding early 1930's.

Thanks for the colour Paula, you are right about the hard life. Big families, little money and no modern appliances in the house everyday life must have been a struggle.

This photograph was taken in South Elmsall, Nr Pontefract, West Yorkshire, possibly in the 1920's. The pub in the background is The Plough. Could anyone improve the quality of this photo.
